Brian McRae's approach to composing and performing is filled with inspiration from almost every musical genre.

The foundation of Brian's style was created on a drum set. Studying drums and percussion at an early age introduced him to a wide variety of artists. It was these artists who encouraged Brian to develop his performing skills and, who fostered harmonic curiosity that led him to the other instruments in the rhythm section.

Brian's debut album, entitled "Pete's House", features performances on these instruments and provides a unique take on Texas jazz.

Heartfelt melodies and rhythmic tension create a sweet balance that is Brian McRae's voice.
